To force restart your iPhone 6s or earlier, you need to press and hold the Home key + Power key unless you see the Apple logo on the screen.
If you have iPhone 7 then press and hold the Power button (on the right-hand side of your iPhone) and Volume Down key unless the Apple logo appears on the screen.
And if you have iPhone 8 or above then quickly press and release Volume Up and Volume Down key and Power key for a few seconds unless you see the Apple logo on the iPhone’s screen.
